Epic Games hasn’t been entirely withholding regarding Fracture and what Fortnite players can expect. The current season of Fortnite has revealed the existence of the nefarious Chrome, spreading across the map. There have also been several teasers, hinting at what could be a tidal wave, and what looks like chrome rising from the earth and destroying the island. There are even hints that players and NPCs will be left adrift in the emptiness of space.

A round of leaks stemming from what some are saying is an Epic Games insider source providing a key to access encrypted Fortnite files has revealed some surprising information. Referred to as “radish” within Fortnite’s files, the leaks include audio from the event, sketches of moments within the event, various environmental assets, and a list of Fracture quest-related filenames.

The two sketches from Fracture are perhaps the most immediately informative leaks. They show what’s probably the player standing on a strange island-like land body in space. What looks like the Zero Point is in front of them, but with energy spilling out of it in long threads. The second sketch shows a window of sorts created by the Zero Point’s energy looking into the past, when the Reality Tree was alive and blooming.

The leaked Fortnite Fracture audio file is mostly music, but has some voice lines, too. The voice says, “One of us has to survive,” followed by, “Figure it out! Zero Fusion won’t be possible until the Zero Point has completely recovered. You and the team need to restore the Zero Point before anyone realizes how vulnerable we are.” Another voice line later says, “AMIE, status report. Tell him I understood the risks of Zero Fusion.” There are then several lines from AMIE mentioning pieces of the island coming together, with her mentioning that she “never expected this much of the island to survive.”

One leak that hasn’t been mentioned by all Fortnite dataminers, but is interesting nonetheless, is the subtitle “Reforged.” Unlike the other leaks, this is just a rumored bit of information about the upcoming season. It could be the new subtitle for Chapter 4 Season 1, though. It would certainly fit with what sounds like the Fortnite map being destroyed and then pieced together again. Fractured sounds like an event Fortnite fans won’t want to miss.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
