Following Epic Games’ strenuous testing of Fortnite’s Playground LTM to ensure it would operate properly upon its availability, fans now have the ability to practice their building, combat abilities, and more. The developer revealed that it would put out “an in-depth and detailed postmortem in the near future” in order to detail all of the problems that surrounded the Limited Time Mode’s launch.

For those unaware, Epic Games had to delay the release of the Playground LTM due to there having been unresolved issues with the mode’s matchmaking, which led to a lot of disappointment among Fortnite’s fan base. Nevertheless, it’s good to see that the development team didn’t have to make players wait for too long, as it was only a few days before the practice mode made its way into the title.

All things considered, it will be interesting to see how much better Fortnite’s player base as a whole will become as far as combat and building skills are concerned thanks to the introduction of Playground LTM, but it may not make that big of an impact on skill at first due to the practice mode only being available for a limited amount of time. Hopefully, though, Epic Games will decide to make it a permanent feature of the hybrid construction shooter.

Fortnite is available now for Nintendo Switch, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
