According to Epic Games, Fortnite is bringing its own built-in voice chat to the Nintendo Switch. What that means is instead of using the Nintendo Switch’s complicated voice chat system, which requires a cell phone running the Nintendo Switch Online App, players can run voice chat through their own mic and the Nintendo Switch. It will still require a headset or microphone that can plug into the Nintendo Switch’s headphone jack, but at least it cuts out the cell phone and app....

In recent years, the game’s overall success and popularity has also opened the door for Epic Games to reach out to other companies, franchises, and IPs for special crossovers. Fans have seen Marvel-centric seasons, as well as new character skins for all kinds of IPs including Star Wars, Street Fighter, The Matrix, and tons more. Shockingly, these crossovers have even included platform exclusive franchises like Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn, Kratos from God of War, and Master Chief from Halo....

This much has been confirmed by a recent blog post from Epic Games, with the company having decided to host its Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am in Los Angeles during E3 2018. As of now, the studio has yet to confirm any guests that will be appearing, as it will “soon begin building the teams.” Interestingly enough, the tournament will not only have famous faces from sports and entertainment playing the title, but also the teams will be populated with the 50 “top Fortnite Battle Royale players” from around the world....

While news of cybercriminals hacking and scamming Fortnite accounts is nothing new, a recent investigation done by The Independent reveals that V-Bucks are being stolen, then sold on online black markets. Criminals are reportedly using stolen credit card details to buy V-Bucks and then selling them at a discounted price to players on the ‘dark web’ - money laundering in its rawest form. By turning ‘dirty’ money into ‘clean’ money, criminials selling V-Bucks are essentially ridding themselves of any evidence by selling it to Fortnite players....

Throughout Fortnite Season 7, aliens have invaded the battle royale island.
