Posts, videos, and giveaways for Free V-Bucks have been around for a while but only recently has Fortnite developer Epic Games decided to address the issue. In a post on Twitter, Epic warned players about the dangers of Free V-Bucks and Discounted V-Bucks scams, saying that the only valid websites for Fortnite are Epic’s and Fortnite’s official sites. For example, Epic recently completed its Solo Showdown event, which handed out varying amounts of V-Bucks to winners....

The most recent incident occurred on Thursday afternoon. The bounce house was used in a birthday party at a neighborhood park in Mesa, Arizona. Fortnite recently released Chapter 4, Season 1, which introduced new skins, weapons, and graphics built on Unreal Engine 5.1. One of the biggest crossovers announced for this season was Doom, which includes a Doomguy skin, a Cacodemon glider, and a Crucible Blade from Doom Eternal as a harvesting tool. Now that Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3 has arrived, it’s time to have some fun with all the water that’s flooded the map. After the appearance of the purple cube within Fortnite’s popular Battle Royale mode, many players attempted to interact with it to see what it would do. A Reddit user named Gsonicify and his buddies actually managed to glitch inside the cube after landing on it and continually striking the top of it with a pickaxe. From there it appeared they had fallen through the map but moving around revealed the dark space was actually resting on top of the Paradise Palms map....

Fans worldwide were skeptical about Marvel superheroes’ inclusion in the original Fortnite storyline. However, the developers have managed to do a decent job of it so far, though other issues remain. This includes various server issues and the lack of proper pacing of the game, and quite a few notable streamers have spoken about the same. Ninja, for example, has gone on multiple rants against Fortnite, and even threatened to quit....

Recently, Fortnite received two pretty significant nerfs: one to its BRUTE mech, which went over relatively smoothly, and another to turbo building, which caused a veritable online riot. Turbo building lets players churn out quick “90s” (placing and building a structure) without going through the manual effort to do so, and Epic Games basically hobbled that feature by increasing the time of turbo builds from .05 to .15 seconds–meaning it took longer to build another structure anyway....

Epic has been going big in promoting the sale and it apparently thinks offering something special to Fortnite players will help draw attention. This is hardly the first time the company has offered free items and cosmetics as part of a promotion, but it’s generally offered those items on all platforms where its signature Battle Royale game is available. This rune, like the others, has been ripped from ground, with it joining the Floating Island. The wind vortex pushed the symbol out of the ground, and volcanic pits that can launch players also appeared. Although what is going on with the corrupted areas in Fortnite isn’t exactly known, the mystery cube attached to the floating island - known to some as Kevin - is seemingly expanding across the island....
