The teaser from Epic Games was shared mid-day Thursday via the official Fortnite Twitter account. The tweet features an image, which includes a few different interesting elements. First, there’s a mysterious symbol that looks like a fantasy rune. Second, there’s a quote that reads, “You’re the one they call the Survivor; those scars on your arms give you away. You’re a troublemaker.” Lastly, there’s a Fortnite logo, which makes clear that this is a Fortnite collaboration in the works....

These skins, which are part of what is being called the Marvel: Royalty and Warriors Pack, were discovered by reputable Fortnite leakers ShiinaBR and Guille_GAG and consist of Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Taskmaster. As seen in the tweet below from the official Fortnite Twitter account, Epic Games stated that it found an “issue” within Close Encounters, so it needed to be disabled in order for the company to investigate and rectify the problem. In order to satiate those hoping to try out the shotguns and Jetpacks-centric mode, the developer has decided to reinstate the fan-favorite Solid Gold mode for the time being....

Season 10 has introduced Rift Zones, which developer Epic Games has confirmed will transform locations on the island as the season progresses. After digging around in the game’s latest update, dataminer Ep8Script has unearthed a variety of file names linked to POIs, one of which suggests a Rift Zone may bring back Moisty Mire in an unexpected way. We also know for a fact that everyone jumps into the game as soon as we are done downloading it without knowing the keybinds or any other aspect of the game cause it’s brand new and we are in a rush to experience the game, but that is not going to help us get any better at the game. Most changes to Fortnite are noticeable, but there has been one change that may have completely gone over some players’ heads, as it involves an item that a lot of them have likely never even found - the Golden Mushrooms. While some of these milestones can be completed by performing simple tasks like covering a certain distance on foot, there are a few milestones that will require a dedicated grind to complete. Each of these milestones features five individual tiers that players can accomplish which rewards players with 12,500 XP each in Fortnite Season 6....

But the good news is that the apple spawns are clumped together enough that players should be able to run through and eat 5 of them within a single game, provided they aren’t killed first or pilfered by opponents....

According to Reddit user cl0cked, the team spent 55 minutes in the Fortnite match building a massive steel structure that was apparently supposed to look like the Eiffel Tower. The structure was rather impressive and intricate, but all the work the team put into constructing it was for naught, as a mistake brought the entire thing crumbling to the ground. As can be seen in the video below, something happened that caused the entire tower to be destroyed....

The entire thread has a lot of reasons as to why collaboration isn’t possible as well. Is the Fortnite x Pikachu collaboration ever going to happen? An individual on Reddit came up with the possibility of what the collaboration would look like. The design shows Pikachu as a pet. Epic Games hasn’t experimented with pets until now and this experiment could probably sit well with fans. And given the fact that Fortnite is collaborating with everything under the sun, a Pikachu collaboration is very likely....
